AMD A-Series APU

AMD A-Series: The AMD A-Series APU (code named "Llano") is the first High-k Metal Gate (HKMG) product to ramp to high volume in the foundry industry, shipping since the first half of 2011, and available from leading PC OEMs at major retailers. This is also the first "Gate First" HKMG product to volume ship in the semiconductor industry. The A-Series combines a quad core x86 CPU and a DirectX11 GPU on the same die, and is 500 Gflops capable. This offers, for the first time ever, supercomputer performance in a notebook form factor that will run on a battery all day.

The A-Series has garnered numerous industry accolades and awards including the CES 2011 Design & Engineering Innovations Award and the 2011 Best Choice of Computex Taipei Award.
