Ron Dickinson is Vice President of Business Process Management, In this role, he is responsible for driving the creation of the new Business Process Management (BPM) group at GLOBALFOUNDRIES to apply rigorous improvement methodology to the company's critical business processes with the objective of improving effectiveness, efficiency and agility to drive the company towards global industry leadership. Previous to this role, Dickinson served as vice president, Enterprise Quality at GLOBALFOUNDRIES.

Dickinson's nearly three decades of world-class leadership experience driving quality and operational excellence in highly competitive semiconductor manufacturing environments make him uniquely qualified for this role. Prior to GLOBALFOUNDRIES, he served as Director of Operations and General Manager for Freescale Semiconductor's fab in East Kilbride, Scotland. There, he was responsible for implementing major performance improvements and reducing overall operating costs. Prior to that, he held numerous management roles at Chartered Semiconductor in Singapore, including leading their Quality and Reliability Assurance team, and running Chartered's highest-volume wafer fab. Dickinson also had a long, illustrious engineering career at Motorola's Semiconductor Products Sector.

Dickinson holds bachelor's and doctorate degrees in Chemistry from the University of Glasgow.
