Jon Carvill
Vice President, Global Communications

Jon Carvill is Vice President of Global Communications for GLOBALFOUNDRIES. In that role he is responsible for driving all internal and external communications and public affairs activities as it relates to the media, industry analysts, employees and overall community stakeholder engagement.

Prior to joining GLOBALFOUNDRIES, Jon spent nearly three years at AMD holding senior communications roles in Europe and North America in product, executive and technology communications. Jon’s career in the semiconductor industry started at ATI Technologies where he held multiple roles managing product and corporate communications initiatives for such areas as executive and financial communications, integrated and mobile products and game consoles. Prior to the semiconductor industry Jon spent five years in enterprise technology leading communications efforts for Platform Computing in the High Performance Computing segment as well as Mitel Networks in enterprise IP communications. Jon studied in both Political Science and Public Relations and holds a degree from the Algonquin College of Media and Design in Ottawa, Canada.
